The Love of EL

So, it’s a new week and I’m wondering whether like me, you want to learn something beautiful of your Father this morning. As usual, another round of weekly tidbit speaking His heart to you, His heart of love. I’m sure you’re already blessed and doing wonderful. Today’s post shall be showing us how that we are indeed extravagantly blessed.

We shall be checking out a small story…

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon and my mother, Kelvin, and I were on a long deserved vacation. We had spent the last few months hurrying between doctors’ appointments, the office and my family house in Magodo; so getting some alone time had been close to impossible. I wasn’t sure how long we spent there, just laying by the pool and letting the gentle breeze caress our skins as slow music played in the background.

I remember watching Kelvin crawl slowly towards me right before he put his head on my chest and started to speak in that garbled tone that I didn’t understand but it made me laugh anyways. Kelvin had always been a joy to behold; he was cute, funny, he had this ability to pick something and focus so hard on it, he had strong white teeth and was very playful despite himself. He always had a smile on his face, even just after he had taken bitter medicine; he’d have that small smile with a slight cleft in his chin that deepened as his smile widened.

In retrospect, I should have known not to take my attention off him, even for a little while. I shouldn’t have turned to get him that water bottle he was so desperately pointing at; I shouldn’t have given him that ball. The bottle was in his bag, right beside mine a few feet from our chairs and I didn’t want to trouble Shade, the babysitter. She had been through so much because of me these past few months.

My little baby was crawling determinedly towards the pool trying to catch his little ball. His focus was at the highest possible level. He laughed as he crawled after his ball. As I took the water bottle and turned back to the chair and to my surprise, Kelvin was already drowning and screaming Shade’s name. I couldn’t watch his beautiful face freeze to death, so I dived in to grab him out myself.

The grace of our Father is out of proportion to the fall of man. He loved us before the foundations of the earth but that’s not the deal now. The deal is in the story, Mama Kelvin jumped in to save her son that was calling out to Shade, who was probably fast asleep or in shock. She jumped in to save her son, her own. In same manner, God jumped into humanity to save you, through and in Christ. His love for you always is and always would be. He has got you and would never let you go. Just think on this, you are nowhere else but in His arms and on your cheeks He is continually planting holy kisses of love.

Thanks for going through today’s story, ask questions if any via the comment box, I hope you enjoyed the story, I’m sure you were blessed. Do share this with a “lost” brother or sister today. Enjoy TODAY.

Affectionate PAPA

Morning people… About today’s post, I pray it meets you at the point of your need(s). Amen.

you're included

you’re included

“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light” – Col 1:12

Most times, we think of this Father—who lives just for us—as some great and mighty one who lives to see you pull out all the stops before He is coaxed. He’s dangerous and terrible in His ways, hence, there is a need to see that a part of Him is against us. No! That’s not your Father. He’s all for you. Like big brother Paul, I give thanks unto Him, for He made you a part of the family.

You’re a part of the divine family of God. You have all that the Father has; wealth, health, name, influence, everything good. You’re not excluded. You were never an afterthought. You were included in Christ to be a part of the family of God. God is your Father, He always has been.

“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” – Col 1:13

Through Christ has he delivered you from the death in your mind; the ignorance of the presence of Him in you. In darkest times and depressing moments, He keeps showing Himself as loving Father. He wants you to see and know His love for you. You’re a part of His family. Daily, does He long for you to see how magnificent a table He has prepared before you. He wants you to realize every moment that on you is His best attire. He wants you to realize—by the moment—how that you drink from the same cup, in love.

He loves you gigantically. You are in His light. He shows His face, even in the darkest and most embarrassing of your moments. All of Him is for you. He is Father, and He cares for you ad infinitum. I wish I could express some more the “breathtaking” of our very affectionate PAPA.

Have a great day thinking on this… Do well telling that “lost” friend and brother how that His father cares and loves Him regardless. In advance, thanks for sharing.

In Love

Someone asked me if “GOD”, like that almighty person, can actually have faith. When I told him God has faith, he received it disconcertingly. So, I figured some of us that have been visiting this blog have felt same way. It is well, for answer cometh this moment.

Yes! God has faith, and His faith is in you, for you, and towards you. His faith is ALL for you. Christ is God’s faith in you. All of what God believes about you is Christ. When He sees you, He sees Christ. He doesn’t hope or wish you’re as Christ is, no! He actually sees you as Christ is. This is a FREE GIFT. This is what He believes of you.

From the “Word of Today“, we are complete in him (Christ – His faith); daddy God sees you perfect, complete, awesome, whole, free, holy, righteous, as He is. You can’t measure how much of Christ you have because it wasn’t given of your own accord. God doesn’t have partial faith in you, He went all out making His faith (Christ) save you. You are Complete.

So much for love! Great love daddy God has for us.

“God is not confused, even when we are about our origin, our nature, our destiny. God has his mind made up about us. We are his absolute passion.” – PE

Live with this knowledge today, knowledge of your fullness in His sight. You have right standing, fear not. His decision wavers not. Amen.

Have No Fears

I’m beginning to become a bore, more like the only message I have is about how the Father can love no other like He loves you, yeah? Yeah! I know. I noticed myself. I’m sorry. I’m only sharing the message from His heart to you. It is all about love, His LOVE.

Fear is a lie, an illusion created by your mind. Yeah, I know you know this, I’m only bringing it to your remembrance. It comes as a result of a lacking knowledge of who you are. A lion can never be scared of a monkey, because it KNOWS it is the king of the Jungle. I mean, Tarzan rolled with gorillas forgetting he was human until he saw his reflection in still waters.

Daddy God’s love reminds you of who you are always: there is rediscovery; an unveiling of who you are whenever meditated upon. Have no fears. He made you perfect. You’re the centre of creation’s attraction. You’re the awesome of the world.

You probably have great fears of the past, now and the future, you fear for your actions and the consequences that follow after. You think your life is a great mess that can never get any better. You let your mind measure how perfect and holy and righteous you are and then ask yourself if you’ve met and maintained the standard. So much for a spoon of hot pottage!

You are the righteousness of the Father [2 Cor 5:21], you’re the redeemed of Christ [Col 1:14, Heb 9:12], you’re PERFECT [Heb 10:14]. There is actually nothing to fear. You are the “masterpiece of God” [Eph 2:10], holy and blameless [Eph 1:4], created to be like God in TRUE holiness and righteousness [Eph 4:24]. So, why fear? When you’re not a mess nitori olorun…

You’re the image and likeness of the one you fear. Why should you fear the one who has embraced you in Himself with an avalanche of love [it haff tey small. LOL]. You’re loved. You’re so loved by God. I said you’re loved. No ONE can love you better than our Father, daddy God. This is what matters. This is what counts. His disposition towards you. Meditate upon this. Live the day and week knowing you’re loved by God, and behold ALL things be for your good.

I dare to mention this is also who your neighbour is; that man depressed near your desk, that woman lost in a burdened thoughts next to you in the bus, that taxi driver of yours that attended to you very rudely this morning. Don’t you think it would be just wonderful to tell them of your Father, their Father! Show [tell of] them His love for them today.

He is for us ALL. Fear nothing. This is Father’s heart to you and your neighbour today. Have a wonderful week. Amen.

Peace Is Yours, Rest.

Aha! It’s a new day, a new week. And I declare, this week is gonna be awesome.

“Grace be to you, and peace, from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ” – Gal 1:3

So, ever wondered why most of Paul’s letters started with this reminder?

It’s because deep down in man’s heart, these two things were basic/foundational issues his mind couldn’t fathom. After the “fall”, man’s conscience towards God always needed a soothe. Hence the sacrifices of bulls and goats. In present times, such comes as our efforts. Efforts never bring peace, every time you look to your efforts, disappointment comes. When you look to efforts, you see a God who is out to get you. Father isn’t so.

Grace is everything, Grace is a person, Grace is Christ, Grace always existed, daddy God never changed. His person brought peace between Himself and man, a great show of love. Man and God are at peace, at least, from God’s side it is so. God reconciled the world (you) to himself through Christ. Father is out to see you reign.

It is the peace from God that saves you from condemnation. This message is out to tell you that God has no issues with you. He makes sure to impress this in your heart every day, by leading you into manifestations of His love. God is at peace with everyone He reconciled with, everyone Jesus’ blood paid for on the cross. Remember “the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.”

He is loving, He gives peace. Stop with your efforts, you can’t impress a Father that is already impressed. He’s at peace with who you are, He is at peace with your neighbour, your boss, your annoying colleague. Rest in this and remind people—like Paul did—that God isn’t out to get them. Bring them to rest in the peace He brought through Christ Jesus.

Daddy God is for you. Every part of daddy God wishes you well. Everything He does brings grace and peace to you. Rest in the Father’s peace, this is His disposition towards you, forever. Be at peace with yourself and receive the Father’s love in your heart.

Don’t you think it would be wonderful to subscribe to this blog, so as not to miss out on awesome shares from the bosom of our Father? LOL. I’m not so good at toasting people. Oh well… It would be the more wonderful to share this good news with a friend today, for this is love.

This week is gonna be awesome.

Stay blessed.
